Niki Z. has been a hair artisan since 1988, beginning her career on the west coast and relocating to NYC in the mid ’90’s. Since then she has worked in Europe and the Middle East training and educating salon professionals. She is actively involved in the beauty and fashion community in a wide variety of capacities. As a master hair colorist, hair extension specialist, hair stylist and makeup artist, she has been recruited to instruct for some of the world’s leading hair color and extension companies as an onstage presenter at hair shows and in salons.

She is a highly acclaimed instructor within her field and has performed educational presentations at hair shows and in salons around the country for many of the world’s leading hair color and hair extension companies. Niki has been an educator and platform artist for such acclaimed companies as Deva Curl, Goldwell, Swarzkopt Int’l, Chromastics and Microchet, to name a few.

Her talent and knowledge in the exciting art of hair fashion is evidenced by her professional confidence and personal philosophy of “telling it like it is.” This is a unique and refreshing stance in the sometimes hedonistic and often self-serving world of personal beauty.
